Who does this course apply to?
All directors, members, partners or sole proprietors are principals according to the Estate Agency Affairs Act. They must therefore be in possession of the FETC: Real Estate (NQF 4) qualification and have passed the PDE 4…they are then full status agents. In order to register as a principal with the PPRA you must be a director of your company if it is a Pty Ltd, a member of a CC, a partner in a partnership or a sole proprietor and in possession of the National Certificate Real Estate (NQF level 5). In the first 24 months of your principal ship you then need to pass the PDE 5 in order to retain your principal status after 24 months.

You will need a copy of the PPRA Study Guides which can be obtained from the PPRA
